The summer season means sunshine and lots of outdoor fun and activities, like swimming. But before you let your kids jump in, take a few moments to prepare yourself and your family by taking a CPR/First Aid course.

During the summer months, the American Heart Association is strongly encouraging Americans to learn proper CPR and First Aid training by taking a course. Anyone can learn CPR and First Aid – and everyone should! Sadly, 70% of Americans may feel helpless to act during a cardiac emergency because they either do not know how to administer CPR or their training has significantly lapsed.

Here at EVAC, we are expanding our CPR program to get more members of our community trained and confident in performing CPR and First Aid. We have courses scheduled every month.

For the Month of July, we are offering the following CPR/First Aid courses:
-Thursday, July 6th, 2017 6:00pm-9:00pm Heartsaver CPR/AED
-Thursday, July 6th, 2017 6:00pm-10:00pm Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED
-Monday, July 10th, 2017 9:00am-1:00pm Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
-Friday, July 28th, 2017 4:00pm-8:00pm Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

Other classes are scheduled throughout the month and additional classes can be arranged to meet your or your organization's needs by emailing cpr@eastchesterems.com. We can even come to you!

After learning CPR/First Aid you can go to the beach or lounge by the pool with a bit more confidence in knowing you can save the life of someone you love if you had to. We look forward to seeing you soon in one of our classes!
