EVAC Participates in Westchester County Airport Emergency Preparedness Drill

MAY 08 - On Saturday the 5th of May Westchester County Airport conducted a Full-Scale Emergency preparedness drill as required by the FAA. EVAC "Takes Back" Unwanted Prescription Medications

MAY 03 - On Saturday, April 28th, EVAC Members Justin Bayer and Christine Demo under the direction of Captain Ronald Graham participated in National Drug Take Back Day at EVAC's Headquarters between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Boy Scouts Learn About EMS and Volunteering

APRIL 25 - On Wednesday night the boys from Den 2 Pack 5 in Bronxville came to visit EVAC and were treated to a full service demonstration of EVAC's operations. The boys were first taught about the workings of a VAC (volunteer ambulance corps) like ours and then they were given the chance to "volunteer" themselves. EVAC Members Rock Immaculate Heart of Mary Health Fair

APRIL 22 - On Friday, April 21st, EVAC staff members including Paramedic Kerry Conrad and EMT's Jen Casinelli and Caroline Osborn accompanied Paramedic Pete Rovida and his wife, Diane, an ER nurse at Lawrence Hospital, to their children's school, Immaculate Heart of Mary, for their annual Health Fair. Community Remembers Police Officer Michael Frey

MARCH 20 - March 21st 2012 marks the 16 year anniversary of the death of Eastchester Police Officer Michael Frey, who was killed in the line of duty by a suicidal sniper who had called 911 requesting assistance.
