The Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps (EVAC) is a non-profit organization that does NOT receive any money from taxes. We do receive assistance from the Town of Eastchester and Villages of Bronxville and Tuckahoe to help defray some of our utility costs, but the majority of our budget is supported by donations from the community and our third-party billing system for ambulance transports. EVAC is also lucky enough to receive grants from organizations such as the Community Fund to assist with operational costs such as the purchase of new vehicles.
This means we rely on YOU, the community, to help support us. EVAC runs a yearly fund drive mailing and we are grateful for everyone in the community that helps to support us.
